Music Festival with the Trio Carabin
To mark the Fête de la Musique, Carla, Sofiane and Alexandre – three passionate medical students – invite you to a concert combining violin, cello and piano, woven together by a romantic theme. Their ambitious programme, prepared alongside their studies, spans the ages and a range of emotions: melancholy, intensity and virtuosity intertwine in a warm and welcoming setting.
The programme features iconic pieces from the Romantic and modern repertoires, blending lyrical flourishes, spellbinding rhythms and moments of pure introspection, performed in a variety of formations ranging from solo to ensemble, to explore the full richness and colour of the dialogue between the instruments.

Carla, Sofiane and Alexandre, second-year medical students, met almost by chance at the start of the year. After a difficult first year of study, they decided to rekindle their shared passion for music together.
Carla on the cello, Sofiane on the violin and Alexandre on the piano will present a programme blending several eras, yet guided by a common thread centred on traditional Romanticism. The three amateur musicians have set themselves the challenge, alongside their studies, of putting together an ambitious programme within a year. From Schubert to Piazzolla, via Chopin and Fauré, the concert will feature two trios, three duets and a piano solo, allowing the audience to appreciate the different combinations of instruments.
They will endeavour to convey the richness of classical music, which has enabled them to get to know one another and share warm moments during their rehearsals. Indeed, a range of moods will be on display – melancholy, liveliness, virtuosity and even nostalgia – with the aim of immersing you in the music against the idyllic backdrop provided by Boissettes en Scène.
